Training Delivery Mbombela Municipality March 2022
On 17th and 18th April 2022 the Basics of Waste water Treatment course was delivered for the first time in Mbombela Municipality, South Africa. In total a group of 15 participants received the training. This course addresses the needed skills development gap within the Municipality’s water department. The trainers Mr. Khoza and Mr. Nyathi were trained during the Trainer of Trainers programme earlier this year. They are experts in their work field and delivered the training with great enthusiasm.
The feedback of the participants was extremely positive. The level of the course was well adjusted to the level of the participants. During the training, the trainers identified knowledge gaps with their participants were some basic knowledge was lacking. This course was addressing these gaps and will improve the work of the employees.
Both trainers and participants are so excited about the programme, they have already planned the next deliveries for May 2022. We are grateful about this fruitful collaboration with the Mbombela and OKP project team and are looking forward to see many more water courses being delivered.
